A bad case of boils should not be ignored. While one might feel hesitant or embarrassed about seeing a doctor for them, hoping that they will get better on their own will only make things worse. Once one notices any sign of boils coming up, one must have them treated right away.

Before we discuss what one must do to treat a boil properly, however, we will first talk about what one must not do. Under no circumstances should one try to pierce, squeeze or penetrate one’s boil in order to let the pus out.
